Boat Hire Deals

Boat hire is available at the Red Lion throughout the year on the leeds liverpool canal on our 40 ft narrow boat. The boat comes fully equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing day break or holiday.All persons named on health and safety form are fully insured whilst on the boat.
The boat comes complete with full shower an toilet facilities, a galley with hob ,grill and oven , 2 double beds either end of the boat for privacy, diesel burning cabin heater and lounge area with tv and radio.

Off Peak

A deposit of £200 is to be paid by credit/debit card before setting off which is fully refundable on bringing the boat back.
deductions will be takin off the deposit in the following cases.

 1) The boat comes back in a damaged condition.
 2) Loss/damage of property from the boat.
 3) The boat requires excessive valeting.
 4) Smoking on the boat (loss of total deposit)

Terms and conditions

 1)The hirer/skipper must be over the age of 25 (identification and proof of age will be required)
 2)Proof of address ie. passport ,driving license or other photographic I.D
 3)Pets are welcome on the boat but any excessive mess or damage will be deducted from deposit
 4)You will charged £25 per hour or part hour for lack of punctuallity on returning of the boat
 5)Customers are required to arrange there own holiday insurance if needed
 6)Charge for diesel will be charged at the new goverment rate of 60% propulsion 40% domestic
 7)Alcohol can be drunk in moderation but you are under the same rules as on the road. We do not recommend that you drink while operating locks .
 8)There must be at least 2 able bodied persons on the boat at all times to operate the swing bridges, locks and helm the boat.
 9)Children must be kept under adult supervision we do provide life jackets for all members of crew.
10) The hirer is responsable for the securing the boat when mooring overnight or leaving the boat unattended.
11)All hire charges must be paid 2 weeks in advance of the hire any cancellations made after this time wil result in loss of deposit.
12)Excess of £250 will be charged to the hirer if we have to claim on insurance to cover any loss or damage 

Diesel is to be charged at the end of each hire to the expense of the hirer. Full instructions on how to sail the boat and health an safety will be givin on arrival. Details of sailing routes will also be supplied
